2011 Tasting Notes:

CHARDONNAY 2009

Lemony and light grapefruit, with a strong green apple and pear aromas are followed with rich vanilla and pear flavors.  A silky citrus finish with a seductive touch of oak. Will complement a wide variety of foods including pork, veal, poultry, pasta, fish and shellfish. 


GEWURTZTRAMINER 2009

The spicy and floral aromas of tangerine and grapefruit converge with the refreshing flavors of lime and oranges. A consistent medal winner which will augment Thai and curry dishes, as well as spicy chicken, fish and many desserts.


LEMBERGER/BLAUFRANKISCH 2009

New this year, this wine has deep plum and blueberry aromas.  The flavors start with crisp cherries and finish with ripe blueberries, lingering soft tannins coat the palate.  This is the richest red that we make, will enhance red meats with heavy sauces such as pepper steak. 

MERLOT 2007

Chocolate and mint aromas evolve into rich vanilla, blackberry and blue berry flavors with exceptional balance. A rich delicious wine that will enhance all meat entrees, pasta dishes and cheeses.


PINOT GRIS 2010

The fragrance is reminiscent of ripe cantaloupe melons with a hint of lemons.  The taste suggests the savory honeydew melon and fresh citrus along with the shrouded aftertaste of dry oats. Wonderful complement to fish, pork, broiled chicken and pasta.                                                                


PINOT NOIR 2008

An accessible red dinner wine that has the mouth-watering aromas of crisp black cherries and smoky, toasty oak.  The flavors are suggestive of fresh ripe cherries and cranberries. The finish is long and supple. Will enhance most foods such as pasta, chicken, all red meats and a wide array of cheeses.


PINOT NOIR BLANC 2010

Fresh ripe watermelon and strawberry flavors envelop the senses followed by lingering soft finish of ripe red cherries and melons.  An ideal summer wine.  Wonderful with cheese, appetizers, fruit salads and white meat dishes.


WHITE RIESLING 2009

Scented ripe peaches with a hint of delectable apricot dominate the fragrance with zesty lemon-lime and peach flavors.  A perpetual gold medal winner which will complement appetizers, green and fruit salads, and most white meat dishes including fish, chicken and pork. Try it as a marinade for fresh fruit.


ZINFANDEL 2008

Rich plum and spicy raspberry aromas.  This is followed up with deep ripe plum and blackberry flavors that coat your whole mouth.  The first year for us. Ideal with all meat entrees.


RESERVE MERLOT 2007

Velvety red plum with rich blackberry and coffee aromas. Toasty vanilla with rich boysenberries and semisweet chocolate flavors dominate in the mouth. Ready to drink now but will age very well. A complement to all red meats.
