2012 Tasting Notes:

CHARDONNAY 2011

Lemony and light lemon grass, with a strong green apple and pear aromas are followed with rich vanilla and pear flavors.  A bright citrus finish with a seductive touch of oak. A crisper Chardonnay than last year's; a classic European style.  Will complement a wide variety of foods including pork, veal, poultry, pasta, fish and shellfish. 


GEWURTZTRAMINER 2010

The spicy and floral aromas of tangerine and grapefruit converge with the refreshing flavors of lime and oranges. A consistent medal winner which will augment Thai and curry dishes, as well as spicy chicken, fish and many desserts.  Winner of the Silver medal, San Francisco International; Bronze medals in the Grand Cru and Indy International.


LEMBERGER/BLAUFRANKISCH 2010

This year, this wine has deep plum and blueberry aromas.  The flavors start with crisp cherries and finish with ripe blueberries, lingering soft tannins coat the palate.  This is the richest red that we make, will enhance red meats with heavy sauces such as pepper steak.  Limited supply. 

MERLOT 2009

Bittersweet chocolate and mint aromas evolve into rich vanilla, cherries and cranberry flavors with an exceptional refreshing balance. A rich delicious wine that will enhance all meat entrees, pasta dishes and cheeses.  Winner Bronze medal, San Francisco International.


PINOT GRIS 2011

The fragrance is reminiscent of ripe honeydew melons with a hint of lemons.  The taste suggests a savory fresh citrus fruit along with the shrouded aftertaste of dry oats. Wonderful complement to fish, pork, broiled chicken and pasta.                                                                


PINOT NOIR 2008

An accessible red dinner wine that has the mouth-watering aromas of crisp black cherries and smoky, toasty oak.  The flavors are suggestive of fresh ripe cherries and cranberries. The finish is long and supple. Will enhance most foods such as pasta, chicken, all red meats and a wide array of cheeses.  Winner Silver medal, Pacific Rim; Bronze medal, Eastern International.

PINOT NOIR 2009

A rich supple Pinot that has black pepper aromas with Loganberry notes.  Fresh cranberry and cherry flavors dominate the mouth.  The finish is that of fine French Burgundy.  Winner Silver medal, California State Fair and Nextgen International.


PINOT NOIR BLANC 2011

Fresh rose petals, ripe watermelon and strawberry flavors envelop the senses followed by lingering soft finish of ripe red cherries and melons.  An ideal summer wine.  Wonderful with cheese, appetizers, fruit salads and white meat dishes.


WHITE RIESLING 2011

Scented ripe peaches with a hint of delectable apricot dominate the fragrance with zesty lemon-lime and peach flavors.  A perpetual gold medal winner which will complement appetizers, green and fruit salads, and most white meat dishes including fish, chicken and pork. Try it as a marinade for fresh fruit.  Winner Bronze medal, San Francisco International.


ZINFANDEL 2009

Rich plum and spicy raspberry aromas.  This is followed up with deep ripe plum and blackberry flavors that coat your whole mouth.  This is the first year for us.  Ideal with all meat entrees.
